Rain

Our walk this afternoon to pick up Kenny and Carley from school started out innocent enough. Sure it was raining...well, I would really call it a drizzle. The "drizzle" was coming down straight so no problem, just like any other day. We got to school just fine but once we had all the kids and were returning home, the drizzle turned into full on rain and it started blowing so hard we could no longer use the umbrellas. This is what we looked like when we came home. Notice Lauren's hair is half blown over her hood. she couldn't understand why we were laughing until she saw the picture for herself.
Needless to say, our pants got a little wet. Mine weren't as bad as the others because I kept turning around (against the wind) to urge the kids onward. I guess that means my backside looks the same as the front. Time to go change!

I heard it was really pouring up there. Hope you are not in danger of any floods.

I want some of that rain in AZ. It has been 72 days or something without rain here,

That is too funny! I love the rain but I'm not sure I could handle it everyday. This is the time of year I LOVE Arizona. The weather has been great and we even had our first winter rain last Sunday WITH HAIL EVEN. It was was awesome!

That's definitely something that doesn't happen in AZ very often! The hail storm on sunday had people's attention for sure. You can tell nothing weatherwise happens here. I thought we were going to release from church early because of hail.(everyone was looking out the windows) I love Lauren's picture..too funny!

You guys are going to love the weather here for Christmas. We just got home from playing tennis with B & E and S & S. We are all still in shorts and t-shirts. Love it!

Too funny! Laughing so hard! Isn't it interesting living in a wet climate? It's so weird too have it rain so much! I keep thinking "All this rain is great. We need it!" And then I think, "Wait i'm not in AZ anymore. We don't need it. It's already rained 3 inches this month!" Cute picture!

Oh that picture is hilarious!! So cute! I saw your weather forcast thing on the side of your blog. It makes me hurt just thinking of it being that cold. I think I became a desert rat and don't ever want to leave here.

Hilarious picture! I wish it would rain here, but I can't complain - the high's have "dropped" to the low 80's!
