BB season has come to a close

Carley's first basketball season has finished. She really enjoyed trying something new...for once. Carley is A LOT like me in that she doesn't like to try new things. Her way of trying new things (and mine) is watching everyone else do the thing first and then practice on her own in private until she feels comfortable doing said thing in front of others. Carley has been wanting to try basketball for a year or two and I finally signed her up afraid that when it came down to it, she'd be too scared. After the first practices and game It was a struggle to make her go. We kept at it and finally she found her confidence. She came to the point where she loved going to practices and skipped happily down the court with a smile on her face during the games. I love seeing her grow!
