Carley turns 10!

Carley's request this year was a Harry Potter marathon with just the fam. We started the first movie as soon as they got home from school on Friday. I'm proud, or not so proud to say that we finish the last movie after church on Sunday. Did we get sick of watching? No! We love Harry Potter. It only made me want to read the books again.

Movie Watching

After the first movie we had dinner and opened presents. Brownies and ice cream soon followed.

Mark always trying to duck out of pictures.

I love Lauren's face in this one. Let's just say we were singing obnoxiously. And no, I'm not pregnant. I just ate way too much..for the last month or so...or year, maybe.

We sure love this girl!

May 2008

I jumped out at Kenny and said "Boo". He looked startled and I asked him if I scared him. He says, "No, I just got concerned."

April 2008

"The pink one is a smooth cool down." Kenny describing how "refreshing" the pink yogo was compared to the other colors that were too sour.

Carley

March 2010

"You're messing with my privacy." She said this because I was facebooking about a comment she had made.

November 2008

"Next time look before you fall!" She said this to Lauren after Lauren accidently fell on her.

January 2008

"If Lauren was water, I could drink her, pee her out in the toilet and flush her down."

January 2008

As we were driving in the car one day, Carley (out of the blue) says, "I know why we have ears." I ask her why and she says, "So we can hear when Jesus speaks to us." It was so sweet!

August 2007

"Of the boss of me's, you're my favorite." She said this to Mark when I was in Arizona for Harmony's wedding.

She also said the same thing about a babysitter: "Are we going to have a boss of me tonight?"

Lauren

July 2010

"Bikes are pretty much evil, but I ride them because it's fun!"

October 2008

"These scary decorations are kinda creeping me out."

August 2008

"You will have to tell me when to turn cuz I can't read your mind...I'm not an alien."

June 2008

Lauren has a really shiny purse. The sun was shining through the window on the purse and made lights shine everywhere like a disco ball. Lauren noticed and said, "Now when we want to dance, I just need to get my purse and we will have 'boogie lights'."

February 2008

"I can tell I'm growing up because there are strings growing out of my arms."

January 2008

Lauren was telling her dad about a bird she saw at a friends house. Mark asked her, "What kind of bird, what did it look like?" Lauren responded, "The ones with a beak."

November 2007

Carley asked Lauren to play "hot lava" with her. Lauren responded, "I don't like hot. Let's play warm lava instead."

September 2007

"You fuddy duddy!" She said this to me while holding my face with both her hands so she could look me in the eye.
