The first weekend they were here we took a drive to the "Fruit Loop" to buy some amazing apples and pears. We had hopes of seeing the beautiful falls leaves but most were gone. We got to see gray drizzly rain instead. I know you are all jealous.
Getting on our coats to keep warm. I wonder what Kenny is doing?
It was a fun adventurous day ending with a good BIG meal at Calamity Jane's.
The Wednesday before Thanksgiving the kids had off from school. We went to a local bagel place and then to Powell's book store. This book store has several floors of used and new books. If there is a hard to find book that you've always wanted, you would find it here. We were too into the books to take pictures. Here is one of our bagel breakfast.
Thanksgiving was nice and relaxing. I can say this because I did ZERO cooking. Mark and his Mom took care of most of the food. Mark's turkey was AMAZING once again. We also had the Krimme family over. She brought my favorite dish which was the orange rolls. I forgot to take pictures of the feast before we dug in but I did manage to take some of the OH, SO DELICIOUS rolls.
Here are some other random pictures.
Silly face time.
Happy Belated Thanksgiving!!
