Visit

I'm still here and ready to update!

A little over a month ago, Mark's parents came for a visit.  Among the story telling, laughing and playing, we took a trip to the Redwood Forest.  We drove to Medford (5hr trip) for the first part of the leg.  While there, we took a tour of the Harry and David Factory.  YUMMY!

 Mmmm!  Moose Munch!!!

We stayed at a hotel that had a fun slide.  I even went down!  Which is huge since the water was so cold.  It was pretty fast for not being a huge water slide.

The next day we drove to the northern side of the Redwoods.  Pictures do not do the size of these trees justice.  They were amazing!

Can you see a deformed face growing out of this tree?

We also stopped at Crescent City were we saw a bully seal.  Can you spot him in this video?

On our way home we stopped off at Crater Lake.  I forgot how incredibly clear and blue this lake is!

 These cute chipmunks were everywhere.

During Grandma and Grandpa's visit, the kids started school.  They had fun taking Grandma and Grandpa to "Back to School" night.  Grandpa even walked the girls to school on the first day!

The big 8th Grader
 4th and 5th Graders

We love Grandpa and Grandmas visits and miss them tremendously.
