End of School before Start of School

With school starting in less than a month, I should probably blog about the end of school, right?  I always put it off because the end of school is so overwhelmingly busy.  Who wants to organize and write about all the pictures.  Not me!

First up, 4th and 5th grade track.
Love Carley's smile!

Kenny had a band concert the same night as track.  Mark wasn't as diligent in getting pictures.

The girls had a piano recital while Kenny had a bassoon recital.  Again, no pictures of Kenny. :(

Lauren had a music informance.

Carley performed on the marimbas, trumpet and drums at Pride Night.  These pictures and video were taken on my phone, hence the poor quality.

Field day was in here somewhere as well.  It was wet and cold that day.  I was also too busy with the event I was helping at that I didn't get pictures of Carley and Lauren.

Kenny celebrated finishing middle school by going to a luau, which was a party at night full of food and games.  He also had a BBQ the last day of school.

Here is a picture from Kenny's last day of school.

Carley also had a special 5th grade lunch to celebrate ending her elementary school years.  Luckily parents were invited so I could get some pictures.

After the last day of school we had to have some fun with water shooters.  Especially when they came home in tears.  Carley had a hard time saying goodbye to the school and most of all to her 3rd and 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Schoefer.  Lauren came home in tears because all her good friends will be in different classes next year.  :(

There was probably more that I missed, but that's what happens when you wait a couple of months to post.  Oh well, enjoy!

Wow!!! No wonder you didn't want to blog this... You're not kidding when you said there was a lot going on!! Wowza. But I'm glad you blogged it because I loved it! I can't believe how big your kids are. It makes me feel like I've been gone for FIVE years! :) What great stuff they are doing. And I love your party idea to help with the tears. Nicely done.
