She was so excited about this day coming. Unfortunately, it didn't start too well. She already has been disappointed. As we were walking back from taking Kenny to school, she said she was sad she didn't get her surprise. I was curious seeing as she woke up to streamers and balloons hung up and cake and presents on the table like we normally do. I asked her what she meant. She had it all planned out. She was going to wake up and go downstairs and have everyone there yelling "Surprise!!". First of all, I had no idea this was her plan. Second, she got up way to early to expect us to be down there just waiting for her to wake up. I think she has seen too many shows with surprise birthday parties. Hopefully the day goes better for her.
Here are a few things I love about Carley.
I love her sense of humor. (She takes after Mark in that area.)
I love her smile.
I love her athleticism. (She is quite coordinated.)
I love her sensitivity. (She gets really upset if she has hurt someone. She does not want to be the source of anyone’s pain or burden.)
I love her ideas. (She can be quite creative.)
I love her giggles.
I love her love of dogs. (She is extremely shy but not when it comes to asking people if she can pet their dogs.)
I love her willingness to help someone out.
I love her beauty both inside and out.
Happy Birthday Carley. We love you!
