New Callings

As if life needed to get any busier!

Mark and I have both received new callings recently. In addition to my being on the Activities Committee, I have been called to be an Activities Day Leader. I'm really excited actually. That is one of my favorite callings. I will have the older group of girls and there is only 7 of them so not too bad.

Mark has been called by the Stake to be a Seminary teacher (no release time here). When they first called to scope him out, Mark told them he was out of town about 1 week out of every month. He loves to teach, especially that age. He told them he would love to be a substitute when ever they needed him. So his name got put on the bottom of the list. Well, a couple of weeks later they called again. Apparently he's the one and that they will just have to work around his schedule. They've got a list of substitutes who are ready to be called on. Mark starts tomorrow morning. He loves to teach and is looking forward to it, but he is not a morning person so getting up early will be a challenge.

Wow...seminary teacher? That's crazy! Tell Mark that we're ticked that he didn't call us while he was down here. And your kids look super cute in their costumes!

Mark says that all is going well. He is really tired though. He went to bed at 9:00 last night! Yah, you heard me right. I don't think he's ever gone to bed early then 10:30 or 11:00 our whole married life. Well, maybe he has when he was really sick but that has only been twice in the 13+ years I've known him.
