I jumped out at Kenny and said "Boo". He looked startled and I asked him if I scared him. He says, "No, I just got concerned."

"The pink one is a smooth cool down." Kenny describing how "refreshing" the pink yogo was compared to the other colors that were too sour.

"You're messing with my privacy." She said this because I was facebooking about a comment she had made.

"Next time look before you fall!" She said this to Lauren after Lauren accidently fell on her.

"If Lauren was water, I could drink her, pee her out in the toilet and flush her down."

As we were driving in the car one day, Carley (out of the blue) says, "I know why we have ears." I ask her why and she says, "So we can hear when Jesus speaks to us." It was so sweet!

"Of the boss of me's, you're my favorite." She said this to Mark when I was in Arizona for Harmony's wedding.
She also said the same thing about a babysitter: "Are we going to have a boss of me tonight?"

"Bikes are pretty much evil, but I ride them because it's fun!"

"These scary decorations are kinda creeping me out."

"You will have to tell me when to turn cuz I can't read your mind...I'm not an alien."

Lauren has a really shiny purse. The sun was shining through the window on the purse and made lights shine everywhere like a disco ball. Lauren noticed and said, "Now when we want to dance, I just need to get my purse and we will have 'boogie lights'."

"I can tell I'm growing up because there are strings growing out of my arms."
January 2008
Lauren was telling her dad about a bird she saw at a friends house. Mark asked her, "What kind of bird, what did it look like?" Lauren responded, "The ones with a beak."
November 2007
Carley asked Lauren to play "hot lava" with her. Lauren responded, "I don't like hot. Let's play warm lava instead."
September 2007
"You fuddy duddy!" She said this to me while holding my face with both her hands so she could look me in the eye.

Oh my goodness Karen, you have no idea how much I wish I could be there to see those leaves. Autumn is my favorite time of year and you know how much Autumn we get around here. That is simply gorgeous. Take it all in for me!
Thanks for sharing the colors of Autumn. I always loved going to Sedona to see them. I'm glad Dad taught all of us through photography to love and appreciate nature.
It's finally starting to feel like we are NOT in summer. It's nice walking in the mornings. I am not anxious for cold weather to get here soon. I do want to plant my winter garden this weekend.
Okay, so I'm pretty jealous!
I love when the leaves change colors. I have been wanting to drive up the canyon to see how amazing they are. Thanks for reminding me.
Gorgeous!!! Sometimes I miss the 4 seasons...then I realize that Arizona is awesome come winter time. We would always drive the canyons in Utah when the leaves would change...I do miss that.
GORGEOUS!!!This is my ultimate favorite time of the year! We just got back from driving to UT from CO, and it was absoultely breathtaking in some parts of the canyons. Living in AZ was the hardest this time of year! Enjoy it before they all fall!

My goodness! That is what I miss about living here - COLORS!!! I was just up in SLC last weekend and couldn't get enough. You lucky girl!
