Carley did much better this year. She went right up with the rest of the kids and delivered her lines without any hesitation. This was a big step compared to last year. She has yet to say the prayer, give a scripture, or say a talk during sharing time. This includes coming up to just help out during a song or game. We are very proud that she did this without any worries, complaining or shyness. She truly has become a new person since kindergarten started.
Lauren who has never been shy also delivered her line beautifully. I can proudly say I could hear her sing all of the primary songs loud and clear even when the congregation joined in. I now understand why she was saying her throat was sore after the practice yesterday. For the most part she actually sounded great though there were times when it was.....well, comical and you could see me get the shakes from laughing inside.
You've got to love Primary Program Sunday!

Wow!!! I sure wish I could have been there. Keeley's primary did our program today too. It was really a good presentation. The kids were well practiced, knew their songs, and you could definitely feel the spirit.
I'm so proud of Carley. She is growing up way too fast.
Awwwwww, that's great!! I bet it warms a mother's heart to see her children do so well, and at church is so awesome!! Way to go mom and dad, you guys are awesome!
Yeah...primary programs bring out the sap in me. I cried during ours. I'm hopeless. There's just something about these little ones that gets to the core of everyone when they sing and speak the gospel words. They're amazing and usually NO ONE is left untouched.
Good joy you guys! Wish we could have been there!
I'm so proud that your kids did so well! :D Ours is in November. I am/was the Sunbeam teacher so I'm worried about my rambunctious boys making it through the program but hopefully all will go well. I'm trying to get them to practice standing and singing real still without jumping around even now in the Primary room. I will be released next week and get called into the Presidency. It's bittersweet. I'm too attached to the sunbeams.
What a cute picture of your kiddos!!! I'm excited to get our program over with...its not for 3 more weeks though.
Primary Programs are the greatest. I think it might be my favorite meeting of the year. Your kids are cute as can be!
Primary programs are the best. This was Colton's last program, and he was so huge up there, he could've been a teacher!
