Another Birthday has Come and Gone

Carley turned 7 yesterday! She opted to celebrate at Big Al's with the family instead of doing a friends party so Big Al's is where we went. Mark couldn't get off work early so we bowled a game waiting for him to join us (we had to get a game in before the leagues started). When Mark joined us we played in the Arcade. Carley chose Red Robbin for dinner (her favorite). She was very excited to get her sundae.

Upon arriving home, Carley opened her presents. And then we topped it off with even more sugar in the form of cake. She asked me to do a Webkinz cake and it was actually fun.

If you ask her, her favorite part of the day is when her Principal, Mr Hogue, tied her shoes. She says he noticed her shoes were untied and he asked her if he could tie them for her. In my mind she answered politely with a "Yes please", but really she said, "yah". She couldn't believe that the principal tied her shoes ON her birthday. She was so proud.

We love our Carley and all that she offers to the family!

Happy Birthday Carely! She is such a cute little girl! The cake turned out adorable. Abree is really into the webkinz craze right now, too.

Happy Birthday Carley! Kaitlyn actually came home from school and told me it was her b-day. Not sure how she knew. I love that she was so happy the principal tied her shoes. :)
