New Furniture

As mentioned before, we bought a new bedroom set. Mark surprised me with this set, purchased from his last bonus from KCI. He did a great job picking the furniture out. We had fun picking out the bedding and lamps. We both wanted a neutral comforter color so we could change out sheets and colors when we wanted. Gray is my new favorite neutral so gray it was. Keep in mind that we are in a rental so we can't paint the walls or put up drapes/curtains. I guess we could put up curtains but that would be a waste not knowing how long we will be in this house. We also haven't addressed art work for the walls. Mark calls it our sunset bedroom and we LOVE it!Because we were getting new furniture, we needed to make room for it. We've had food storage, suitcases and unpacked boxes with our framed pictures piled in our room. We decided to put the girls together in the big bedroom and put Kenny in a smaller bedroom. This allowed us to use the extra bedroom's closet for storage. We now have a guest room (with only a dresser and possible blow up mattress) for our guests. Putting the girls together required us getting bunk beds and we gave them our old armour from our bedroom. We surprised them with new bedding as well. We chose something they could grow into and since both girls like animals, we chose zebra sheets. They LOVE sharing a room and LOVE their new beds. They are constantly talking about how much better they sleep.
