We woke up to snow and a SNOW DAY this morning which is extra fun because Grandpa and Grandma Ray are here from Arizona. There is only 3" on the ground but apparently that warrants a snow day. More on that later.
The kids dove right in! First on the agenda was clearing the rental car.

My friend posted it on her blog and it had me rolling in laughter. I had mascara streaked tears rolling down my face. Maybe you have to live in the Portland area to get it, or maybe I was just tired, but I think it is stinking hilarious and oh so true!

I love seeing your pictures and video! It is so nice to have snow be FUN! (My kids loved our first winter here, but it's pretty old already. We're supposed to get 6-10 inches overnight, and when I told them, they were super disappointed.) Anyway, I do love your pictures and video. And how fun this happened while Grandma & Grandpa were there!! Cool!! I am glad that you posted that video here, too. It's just so hysterical! I have watched it probably 5 times since I put it on my blog yesterday, and I have laughed just as hard every time!!! I LOVED the comment you left on my blog, too. I was hooting!!
That was funny. Today I stopped at a RED box that wasn't working because the heat. Irritated, I called it in but the customer service rep couldn't stop laughing. She asked, are you serious? I said, Yes, why do your install these things facing south in AZ? (seems really stupid to me) I told her, This happens all the time when you install these things in full sun. It's only 70 degrees and it's not working. Ignoring my question she replied laughing some more, I still can't get over that it's 70 where you're at. It's like minus 15 right now where I am. Ha ha, I guess I shouldn't complain but it was literally the LAST available copy of Megamind valleywide!
