I finally got Kenny to participate in the Elementary School Track Meet this year. Every year 4 schools get together to compete in all the usual track things. Kenny choose to do the shot put. He didn't want to run cuz he said he was not fast. So shot put it is. He didn't place or anything but he did have a good time and we as a family, enjoyed joining in on the excitement of cheering on our school.
Kenny also had a band concert this week.

The track thing is so cool. I'd never heard of that. Good for him for participating. The band performance was awesome. He looks so natural on the trumpet. (Let me tell you, we SERIOUSLY MISS the band directors at Shahala. They made band SO FUN. We came here and Preston quit [literally walked out of class] after 2 months.) The video was fun to listen to. Great job, Kenny! Keep it up!
Yay for Kenny! Trying new things is always a good idea. Who knows, he may really like shot put after awhile! :)
