A few Saturdays ago we took the fruit loop drive to look at the beautiful fall scenery and to get some fruit of course.
Have you ever seen purple pears? They make beautiful trees when ripe.

Believe it our not, this is the base of Mt. Hood...the peek is in the clouds.

I have always wanted to do that loop!! (I have technically done it once, but it was in the spring. Lovely to see the flowering trees, but not the same as it would be in the fall.) I LOVE the purple pears. So cool! I love the pictures of the fall leaves, too--so beautiful. What a fun trip. (I wouldn't have recognized Mt. Hood, either, if you hadn't said that's what it was! Too funny.)
Wow, that is gorgeous! I've never done the loop, but every year I think "I should do that next year". Love the pics!
