I'm pretty sure Christmas was bigger on Monday with G&G but Santa came through on Christmas day with bringing an XBox Kinect (behind Carley) and a few other fun things.
Holy BIG present! Mark and I got the girls a new vanity/desk that is just the right size. Lauren's small vanity from 3 years ago was overflowing with stuff. The girls are loving their new one.
What was hidden in Kenny's new hoody...an ipod shuffle!
He was thrilled!
My family totally gets me!
I love when Christmas falls on a Sunday. I think having sacrament on Christmas day is so much more meaningful. Mark was the narrator for our program this year and I sang in the choir. We watched our kids from the stand. My favorite part of the meeting is when Lauren moved from sitting with a ward member to go sit next to Kenny. I watched as Kenny smiles at her and then puts his arm around her. It was a sweet moment that almost brought me to tears.
Later in the evening we had 3 families (who also live far away from their extended families) over for dinner. It was a joy to visit with them and to share some delicious Mexican food. Sorry, no pictures.
