It's only been a month!

Pipe down! It's only been a month since Kenny's birthday. What?! I ought to have posted about it by now? It's not like it's a milestone or anything...he only turned twelve and received the priesthood and joined the Deacons...

Kenny chose a cheesecake again. I love when he does that...they are so much yummier than cake!

A few days after his birthday, Grandpa and Grandma Ray came to visit. It was neat to have them here for the ordination.

Stay tuned for some more adventures during Grandpa and Grandma's visit.

I jumped out at Kenny and said "Boo". He looked startled and I asked him if I scared him. He says, "No, I just got concerned."

April 2008

"The pink one is a smooth cool down." Kenny describing how "refreshing" the pink yogo was compared to the other colors that were too sour.

Carley

"You're messing with my privacy." She said this because I was facebooking about a comment she had made.

"Next time look before you fall!" She said this to Lauren after Lauren accidently fell on her.

"If Lauren was water, I could drink her, pee her out in the toilet and flush her down."

As we were driving in the car one day, Carley (out of the blue) says, "I know why we have ears." I ask her why and she says, "So we can hear when Jesus speaks to us." It was so sweet!

August 2007

"Of the boss of me's, you're my favorite." She said this to Mark when I was in Arizona for Harmony's wedding.

She also said the same thing about a babysitter: "Are we going to have a boss of me tonight?"

Lauren

"Bikes are pretty much evil, but I ride them because it's fun!"

"These scary decorations are kinda creeping me out."

"You will have to tell me when to turn cuz I can't read your mind...I'm not an alien."

Lauren has a really shiny purse. The sun was shining through the window on the purse and made lights shine everywhere like a disco ball. Lauren noticed and said, "Now when we want to dance, I just need to get my purse and we will have 'boogie lights'."

"I can tell I'm growing up because there are strings growing out of my arms."

Lauren was telling her dad about a bird she saw at a friends house. Mark asked her, "What kind of bird, what did it look like?" Lauren responded, "The ones with a beak."

Carley asked Lauren to play "hot lava" with her. Lauren responded, "I don't like hot. Let's play warm lava instead."

September 2007

"You fuddy duddy!" She said this to me while holding my face with both her hands so she could look me in the eye.
