His school sent 3 teams of 5 people. He was on the third team. They went undefeated in the first 4 rounds but had to wait to see if they earned enough points to continue after lunch. Team one and his team made it through to the much harder double elimination round. So out of 64 teams, they made it to the final 16. They lost those first two matches but ended with an exciting finish. They had to get the last question right to tie it up. How it works is that both teams get to buzz in to answer a question. Whatever team rings in first and gets it right then gets a bonus question where the team can talk with each other before giving their answer. So on this final question for the tie, they got the buzz in question and were deliberating on the answer to the bonus question. Two of Kenny's teammates were gunning for one answer and Kenny adamantly said it was a different answer. The captain at the last second decided to go with Kenny and he was right! It was exciting!!! Unfortunately, they lost in the tie breaker round. It was an exciting finish though. It was fun to watch Kenny in his element showing some major smarts. :)

OH, cool! Good for him!!! I bet he will have a great time with that. I always wished Preston would do something like that--I think he'd be good at it.
