Easter Tradition With Friends

It looks like it is officially a tradition here in Washington to spend Saturday with friends enjoying good food and doing an egg hunt for the kids.  This year a "Candy bar Hunt" was added for the "big" kids.  While the big kids hid eggs with the dads, Wendy A. thought it would be fun to hide big candy bars (one with money) for their return.  Here are a few pics of the event.

Toddlers get to go first

Time for the kids to break through!

Counting eggs

Eric found the big money egg.  He was the winner last year as well.  Lauren also found an egg with $3.  Keeping up with traditions...she found this one last year as well.

On to the big kids hunt.  Samantha braved the tree.  I didn't catch her at the top.  I love how she says on the way down, "I forgot I'm afraid of heights!"

Kenny was the first to find a candy bar.  Way to go!

Megan found the candy bar with the $5.

I loved peeking out the window and finding Kenny pushing Marcus on the swing.  So sweet!

But...in the next instance he was bullying some smaller kids with a sword.  I'm pretty sure they were enjoying it though.  They kept coming back for more.

Lauren of course could be found with the bunny practically the whole time.

Easter Sunday with new skirts (lame ones I made) and a new bow tie.  Love the silly faces!

Since we had the traditional Easter dinner with friends the day before, Mark came up with making Olive Garden Chicken Gnocchi Soup and Red Lobster Cheesy Garlic Biscuits.  It was delicious!

Happy Easter everyone!!!
