A Spontaneous Trip

We woke up on Wednesday of Spring Break itching to do something so we jumped in the car and headed to the coast, Lincoln City to be exact.  Mark found a hotel and scheduled a fishing trip for the next day.  We mostly swam at the hotel. Total hours of swimming for both days...3 1/2 hours.  We did do some exploring of the town and while Mark fished, the kids and I headed to the cold, windy, yet dry (yeah, for no rain) beach.

Here is Mark's catch.  He also came away with some fresh crab.  We drove home on Thursday.  So yes, quick trip, but fun!  We had some delicious fish that night.  YUM!!!
