A Band Performance at Yakima

Kenny’s middle school wind symphony was chosen by the Washington Music Educators Association as one of the top in Washington.  As a result, they were invited to play at the WMEA Conference in Yakima WA. They played at the Capital Theatre and it was beautiful.  The girls especially liked the blue lounge room downstairs.
Even though it took extra long (4 hrs because of the massive landslide on HWY 84), we were glad to attend.  We’ve only heard Kenny’s band play in the school Gym.  What a difference the theatre can make.  They did an Amazing job!

It was snowing for the drive home.
