On Saturday we went to this really fun park. It's about 20 minutes away. This park has a river, covered picnic tables and fireplaces, lots of grass for playing, a softball field, volleyball court, tennis courts, a playground and hiking trails and probably more that we didn't see while we were exploring. We had tons of fun at the river skipping rocks and we also enjoyed hiking the trails. Mark's favorite part was seeing the "certified therapy" llama. It really cracked him up that there was even a need for a "certified therapy" llama. The kids of course loved it all, especially the merry-go-round at the playground. It was an absolutely beautiful place and a great place for a huge crowd to gather for a party.

As you can see in this picture, there were some logs along the trail. The kids made a rule that they had to jump over each one. It reminded me of the game Donkey Kong. It was really funny to watch. And as they jumped they would yell
"brinca" which means jump in Spanish. Thanks

how are you guys?
my kids would love that park...it sounds and looks amazing...to bad there is nowhere like that 20minutes from our house!
I love that park too. Have you gone to the Lucia Falls park just a bit up the road from Lewisville? It is like billy goat heaven for the kids. There are all these great rock formations to climb on right next to the falls. It is just up the river from Lewisville park. And maybe 30 minutes away instead of 20.
