Lauren has been asking for a while now to have her ears pierced. She is such a girly girl so this was no shock. So a couple of times while we were at the mall we had her watch someone get their ears pierced so she could see the process and see that it does hurt. We happened to be at the mall again on Friday night and she politely asked to have her ears pierced and said she was totally ready. We said OK. She so bravely and eagerly climbed up the chair and picked out some star earrings. The lady asked Lauren if she was scared. She replied, "No, just a little nervous. She really was so brave. They had another person assist so both ears were done at the same time. She cried for only a few seconds and said that it really hurt! by the time she got home she was as happy as a clam. Carley was asked if she wanted hers done too but she wasn't ready. For the first few days Lauren didn't like getting her ears cleaned and having the earrings moved around but she says they no longer hurt to get cleaned, YEAH! Carley is now begging to get hers done too.

It is so fun having girls!

Ahhhhhh. She looks so cute! I wish Emily could get hers done. Unfortunately she's just like me - poor girl.
I noticed them on Sunday, and then she pointed them out to me at preschool this morning. I love the stars. "I picked them out myself," she said. :) She IS brave. The whole process is no fun. They're pretty, though!
So cute! What a brave little girl! Unfortunately there's always a little bit of pain that comes along with being beautiful!
Way to go Lauren. Kennedy still wants nothing to do with it. She watched Whit get hers, and that was that!
