Round Two

Carley has been begging to get her ears pierced since Saturday and today was the day we could squeeze it in. I'll admit I was hesitant about Carley. She hasn't been all that girly so I wasn't so keen on doing such a permanent thing. Also Carley is my fearful one who wimps out almost every time. But like I said, we had some time on our hands so off to the mall we went. There weren't two employees there so we had to do one ear at a time. Carley climbed up as brave as can be. She was a little nervous about the second piercing but she did not cry at all and was all smiles instantly knowing the worst was over. She had no complaints at ALL! She picked out some cute flowers with sapphires in the middle. Since her birth stone is sapphires, I didn't mind. She loves them and tells anyone who will listen that she got her ears pierced TODAY!

NOT our experience. Abby should have won an Oscar for her dramatic performance. The "captive audience" at Wal-mart were totally entertained! Luckily they did both ears at the same time or we would have a one earringed girl!

ONE MORE THING... I blame that "captive audience" at Wal-mart were.... sentence on my rural southern Utah education...

Cute! Cute! Cute! And so brave to have them done ONE at a time! I always said I wouldn't take my girls to get their ears pierced until they begged me to. I always told them it hurt REAL BAD. When they got to the point where they said they didn't care, I knew it was time to take them. :)(But I always made sure there were two girls working at the place-I was too afraid they would chicken out after one shot.)
