I had two wisdom teeth pulled Friday afternoon. Because we didn't know how I'd be feeling, we hadn't scheduled anything for Saturday. By late Saturday morning we were all wanting to get out of the house. I figured I could handle a drive and we decided to drive to some water falls we hadn't seen yet. They were a 1 1/2 hours away. About 10 minutes into the ride I knew I was in for a not so good time. I got nauseated right off. I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep which helped. All was lost if I opened my eyes. We stopped for lunch and I started feeling much better. This pain medication was making me sick and MORE food did the job at making me feel better though I never quite got over the queasiness. We made it to the falls and had to hike just a short distance. The scenery was breathtaking and we had fun walking down and behind the south falls. It felt great being outside but as I'm typing this on Sunday, I feel really drained. But it was so worth it!

If you look to the left of the falls you can see us as little specks. It was so cool to walk behind this massive fall as it RUSHED down.

That is absolutely gorgeous!!! Why do I live in this ugly desert! You are so lucky! I remember the joy of wisdom teeth removal. Hope you are feeling better.
Yep, more of that yucky green stuff! I honestly don't know how you can stand it!!! Seriously, doesn't all that greenery and beauty just drive you insane? You miss the dead brown earth from Arizona don't you? You can admit it. It's okay. I wouldn't think any less of you! Ha, ha!
I am ALWAYS jealous of your weather/scenery posts. It's beautiful...what an incredible world Heavenly Father has created for us!!:) Sorry about the wisdom teeth...NO FUN AT ALL!! Feel better and REST!! Way to go on the weightloss as well!!

SILVER FALLS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES!! I'm glad you guys went. Walking behind the waterfall is just amazing. Sorry about the wisdom teeth... That is horrible!! I feel for you! :(
You're so tough to get your wisdom teeth pulled and then go on a road trip...I think I was puking for like 5 days after mine got pulled.
Wow, we have never been there. Now I am definitely putting it on my list of things to do this summer. Especially if it can be done in a day-trip. Thanks for the great idea and pics!
