Our trip to Maui
We left on my birthday/mother's day and had a lay over in Phoenix. We were able to eat lunch with Mark's parents at the airport. That was a real treat! We arrived in beautiful Maui Monday night our time, early evening Maui time. We found our hotel and explored our surroundings. The real fun started the next day. This slide show explains and shows much of what we did...though pictures never live up to the real deal. Enjoy!

Oh, I love it!!! You did a couple of the same things we did--the banyan tree in Lahaina is amazing, isn't it??!! While we were there, we saw some guys bringing in a 7-foot swordfish someone had just caught. It was awesome. I love your pictures of all the flowers and everything, too. Brings back great memories. Hawaii is honestly the most relaxing place I have ever been! AHH! I'm glad you made the trip to Hana. We didn't do that because it's such a windy road and we have a couple of car-sick-ies, and we'd driven up Haleakala and that was more than enough for the car-sick-ies. But I've heard it's one of those things you should do. Cool you did a submarine. I love all the tropical fish in the water there!!! Anyway, love the pictures! Glad you got to go. I'm sure it was THE BEST!! :)

Everybody is going to Hawaii! I'm sure it's my turn. It looks like you had a great time. Did you enjoy the Road to Hana? Shannon and my brother were carsick by the time we arrived. I don't think we will do that again :)

First you live in a paradise, and then you get to visit another one. I'm way jealous! I'm glad you got to have that fun get away. My Hawaii goal is 2.5 more years away. I can't wait!
