The Rays

I'm overdue for posting all the happenings around here but before I get to that, I wanted to write about the cute and funny things coming out of my kids mouths before I forget.

First off, I love love "So You Think You Can Dance"! We were watching the try-outs with Kenny and that one guy with the tight white button-fly jeans just did his thing. If you watch this show at all, you know who I'm talking about...the one who dances using only his hips. After he was done with his dance Kenny says, "He may have the hips but definitely not the hop." Very clever.

Next, when Lauren and I walk to pick up Kenny and Carley after school, we race at a certain point on the path. It all started because Lauren wanted to get faster so she could race with Carley. I told her we just needed to practice everyday and she would get faster. Anyway, today as we were racing Lauren obviously let me when. I told her that I knew she let me win and she said, "That's because you never win and we've only tied once." How sweet for her to want me to win.

These kids are definitely a blessing to me and I love watching them grow into the people they'll eventually be.
