Cottonwood Beach

On Wednesday, some friends of mine invited us to join them for a day at Cottonwood beach on the Columbia River. I can't believe I've not heard of this place before. It was so fun and refreshing with all the hot weather we've been having (ha ha, 85 is hot). We will definitely be going back, especially since it's only 15 minutes away!

Wendy kept turning away so as not to be in the picture...

got her calling out on this one. I'm such a good friend.

Fifteen minutes away? Seriously?!! I'm probably NOW the most jealous I've ever been. How nice is that! Cute photos too!

So glad you finally got a pic of Wendy in there, too bad I happen to be standing right next to her. Are we on for one day next week?

Great pics!
Isn't it funny that you move away from the desert and 85 becomes hot. I felt the same way in Idaho. Its just different.

Hey there! I am finally getting caught up reading blogs! YAY! :) You've had a good month (minus the flat tire)! How fun. Cottonwood Beach and the Stake Pioneer Day look like so much fun. (I'd never heard of Cot. Beach, either, and we lived there for 13 years!) The pictures of Lauren and her cousin were awesome!! How fun. :) Miss you guys! Once we get a house, I will have a bit more blogging time to update our adventures. Right now I'm just eating, sleeping, and even dreaming about houses!!!

Oh, I forgot to say how jealous I am that you saw Harry Potter at Cinetopia while having an avocado sandwich. I LOVE Harry Potter, and I have always wondered if Cinetopia would be cool. (And I love avocados.) Totally jealous. (By the way: cried twice at the movie. Read the book, knew what was coming, still cried twice. The next movies are going to be AWESOME.) :)
