Time is now measured by a peep beep at our house. After 3 LONG years of potty training, Lauren continues to let a few drops slip out before getting to the potty. And after all day of this, she ends up smelling a little ripe. We have tried all sorts of bribes and all sorts of reminder approaches but still she ends up wetting, not full on peeing mind you, though she has done that too. Mark finally got an inspired idea to get her a watch that will chime at a set time (notice the watch on Lauren's arm). She wears this watch everywhere and the single chime reminds her every hour to do her business. It has really worked. She actually stops WHATEVER she is doing to go. She is so proud of this watch! And I learned that she does need to go every hour which I originally thought was too often because she has gone longer stretches of time without "needing" to go. Anyway, we drove to Boise, Idaho last week (a post of this shall come later). We told the kids it would take 7 hours to drive there. Lo and behold they were able to keep time by how many beeps Lauren's watch made. It actually worked out great. We didn't hear one "how much longer" question. And yes, the chime is affectionately called a "peep beep". Now maybe she will actually earn that trip to Disneyland!!! It's been a long time coming...

That's a really great idea! I might have to steal that one to use on Jalon. Yes, he still has issues every once in a while. Any ideas for night training?
Now THAT is a great idea! Anything that works, right?
What a fabulous idea! I think I'll get one just for the car trips!
