Short lived

We had our first snow storm of the season on Tuesday. It wasn't supposed to snow this week and the temperature was 36 degrees but it snowed anyway from about 3:00pm until after we went to bed.

Here are a couple SHORT clips of Lauren hamming it up. In the second one Lauren is trying to catch snowflakes on her finger.

We decided we'd better get our snowball fight going knowing the snow would be gone the next day. So we were outside at 8:00pm having a ball throwing snow at each other...so fun!!!

Surprisingly the snow was still there in the morning so the kids decided to make a snowman which turned into a snow fort. All the snow was gone by the afternoon, except for their fort. We love living were it snows occasionally but doesn't stick around to cause traffic trouble (except for last year of course).

I love snow when I am watching it from inside my house with a mug of hot apple cider in my hand. I hope we get some more before winter is over:)

Wow! What a Vancouver treat! :) I love the videos you included. Lauren is hilarious--I miss her. And it was fun to hear your voice again! I feel like we've been gone for 1,000 years. ha My favorite picture is the first one with Lauren sticking out her tongue to catch the snow. So cute.
