The problem with only getting snow every so often is the city can't take care of it. The neighborhoods NEVER get plowed. Imagine the freezing rain coating this with and inch or two thickness of ice.

Mark tried to take pictures of his frozen over car but it was dark and it didn't turn out that great. Take my word for it, there was NO getting in the car.
Anyway, church got cancelled. You may think us wimps but there was no getting to church that day. Mark has a video of me going into our backyard that Sunday. Check it out on facebook. Maybe someday I'll download it off his phone and put it on the blog, maybe.

Absolutely do NOT think you're wimps. That same thing happened about 8 years ago, and you just CAN'T MOVE. It's not wimpy. It's physically impossible. We used to love those storms, though, when everything got canceled and we snuggled up at home. Now we go out in sub-zero weather and blizzards all the time. Kinda sucks. We miss it being special and fun. :)
Our church gets cancelled for snow/ice weather too.
