The kids coming downstairs Christmas morning.

Kenny was really excited about the gift Santa left him.

Santa left Carley and Lauren a play kitchen!

The kids digging into their stockings.

Among other things, the other big toy gifts (that the kids begged for)were Barbie dolls from the newest Barbie movie for Carley and Lauren and Kenny got this:

We went to a restaurant for lunch. While we were there it started snowing. It snowed really hard for about 1 1/2 hours. It didn't stick but it sure was beautiful to watch. Snow was not expected as there was only a 5 percent chance it was going to happen. Everyone started cheering in the restaurant (Snow is not the norm here). It was fun to have at least a little bit of snow for Christmas.
Later in the evening, while we were relaxing, the kids started bringing play food in for Mark to eat (They had been really busy with the play kitchen). The kids got carried away with the food, and soon Mark was covered. The kids thought it was hilarious.

We had a great Christmas. We really couldn't have asked for more!

What fun! Christmas is so wonderful. It looks like your kids had a happy day. I know what you mean about enjoying a holiday at home. You want to visit family, but the peace of a day at home is something to cherish.
What a nice day you all had! We had just our kids at Michael's parents and it was nice not to have so much commotion for a change. We really enjoyed it.
Yum! Yum! Looks like Mark is set for the football game. Looks like you had a nice Christmas. Didn't you like that last Barbie movie? I found myself singing the songs around my house. yes, even though my girls are getting older, they still love Barbies. :)
