Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve we were invited over to Michael and Bekah's for dinner. We are so grateful to have some family here with us. The night was filled with fun entertainment and some delicious food. The kids performed the nativity scene and then we all played Christmas charades. Bekah did a great job coming up with things for us to act out. We also went around the room and shared some of our most memorable Christmas'. Thanks Bekah and Michael for a good time.

We didn't have costumes for the nativity so we improvised with Brynley's dress up clothes. Lauren was an Angel.

Carley did not want to play a person. She wanted to be an animal (of course!). Bekah used ears from an owl costume and wa lah, a donkey!

Kenny was a wise man. He didn't want me to take a picture because he thought he looked funny. Like making a face helps!

And here is Brynley as Mary holding baby Jesus (some kind of stuffed animal).

Here is Bekah playing charades.

As the evening was coming to a close, the kids all got into their PJ's in preparation for Santa's arrival.

Cute. I didn't know that Michael and his wife lived up there. How close are they? That's soo nice for you both.

They are about 45 minutes away. They have been living up here for
1 1/2 years. It is so nice to have them around.
