Today...was the first day of school! Kenny acted like he didn't want to go but as soon as we got there he wouldn't give us the time of day with saying goodbye. He was already off talking with a friend. Carley has afternoon kindergarten which I am really bummed about. She had a little longer to wait which was good. After dropping off Kenny she started to get excited and couldn't wait for her turn. I got worried when we were waiting outside for her teacher, she clung to my leg when anyone approached. But she went right in and found her desk and started on the paper that was there. She wouldn't talk to anyone including her teacher so I hope all goes well. She had no problem with me leaving which was a big relief.
I'm excited school is finally in session and that I can get back into the routine of things. Hallelujah!

Wow, I can't believe how grown up Kenny looks! What the heck! When did this happen?? He's so handsome and Carly...she looks so cute. What fun!
You have adorable children! How did Carly do after her first day? Sometimes it just takes a few days for them to feel comfortable with new friends and teachers. What is Lauren going to do all by herself at home now? :)
Love,
Harmony
Carley loved her first day and didn't want to leave. She tells anyone who will listen how much she loves her teacher!
Lauren liked the idea of spending alone time with mom but quickly got bored. She starts preschool next week.
What handome and beautiful children you have!! I love the summer, but I'm glad that school has started, and we can get back into a routine again!
TJ had AM kindergarten and Josie had PM kindergarten. And I loved the PM so much more!! I felt like I could actually get things done while she was gone. The morning...by the time I got ready for the day and picked up the house I didn't have time for errands before I had to pick him up. I hope you'll enjoy it too!
Looks like fun Karen. The first day of school is so exciting. They all look adorable. Your blog looks so cute too!
Hannah bawled and freaked out on her first day of school! She was the only one who was bawling too! Then I came to pick her up and she was as happy as could be and couldn't wait to go back the next day.
How fun! Yup, Harrison is SO bored. He starts preschool this week. It's fun having them home, but also I love to have everyone on a schedule. Have a good week.
Great first day pictures. Love the one of Carly sitting at her desk.
