Second Installment of G & G's Visit

We went to the zoo one day while Mark's parents were here. We took a vote and our favorite exhibit was of the polar bear. One really BIG bear decided to go swimming and put on a show. He moved pretty fast and there was allot of people at the windows so it was really hard getting a picture.

Another favorite was the train ride. We sat in the back so we were able to get a picture of the front of the train at a bend in the tracks.

Passing the other train.

This is how Carley looked not just at the zoo but practically the whole visit; attached to Grandma's arm.

Here is a picture of the light on our train car.

At the end of the ride, the train went through a decent size tunnel. We found Carley like this when we came out. I guess the smell of the smoke stack was a little too much to handle. The kids really enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit. We didn't get very many pictures (we were getting tired at this point), but we did managed to get this one of the kids. Can you see the dinosaur creeping up behind them? Run kids, Run!They managed to get away from him.Of course I had to throw in pictures of the insects....ewwww!

Mark captured this picture. Maybe Carley is a bear based on the noises described on this sign.

Cute! My kids love the zoo too. It's always a blast whenever we go.

Do you remember the polar bears at the Tucson zoo? It was our favorite too.
