Kenny wasn't interested in going to volleyball on Friday. Usually all the kids enjoy this as they play on the stage together. Since Kenny likes to take pictures, I convinced him to come and take pictures while I played. Here are some of the shots he got. They are a bit grainy because they were taken on the sports setting. I'm the
short one in the red shirt and black knee pads.

Here is a video he took too. You just catch the tail end of my amazing line serve and get to see my less than stellar approach in spiking.
The reason I never played volleyball in high school, where I could have possibly learned better skills in how to play is...I was busy doing things like this in the next picture. I like to think I was better at it and pointed my toes close to 20 years ago.

Holy cow Karen! How in the world did you do that? I can totally picture you as a cheerleader :) You'd have to break both my legs to get them like that :) You look pretty cute playing volleyball too, another sport I totally stink at, I might add. Good thing we have other things in common huh?
Wow, does that last photo bring back some great memories!!! How many times did I watch you practice that in our living room? Hee, hee. Good times!
Hey, BTW...I can still do the splits! Woo-hoo!
Something that I love about you is your consistency in your hobbies. I have a lot of hobbies that I love as much as you love volleyball but I certainly do not do them faithfully every week. Maybe I need to reset some priorites!
Congrats on Mark's new job. I heard it was in Hillsboro? We are looking at an opportunity in Seattle! We'd love it to be more Vancouver-Hillsboroish but if it gets us closer to the NW, we might take it!
Yay volleyball! I recently got invited to join a group of women who play. They want more recruits who know how to play. When are you moving to Virginia??? :D
Pointed toes? I'd just be happy if I could jump that high without a trampoline. ;)
