A new School Year Already?!

Our warm weather came a little late this year and with the river so high we didn't get to go to the beach (like we  do every week in the summer) until the second week of August.  So it was a real slap in the face to realize school was upon us again.  Luckily it was an exciting year to start.

Kenny started middle school this year (middle school here is 6th - 8th grade).  He loves having the different teachers and having the school day broken up.  It has only been 3 days but he is thrilled with how things are going.  Kenny doesn't usually divulge information about school, so it is great to see him come home excited to tell me what funny things his teachers have said.

Carley and Lauren were just as excited to go to school and find out who their teachers were and to see who would be in their classes.  Both can't stop talking about how much they like their teachers.

I think it's going to be a GREAT year!
