Lauren's been saying for days that her carebear's birthday is the same day as Kenny's. Kenny of course did not like this idea of sharing his birthday but I talked him into just letting her use her imagination. We let it go and think nothing more of it. Well today is Kenny's birthday (and carebear's). Kenny woke up to the excitement of streamers, balloons and presents waiting for him. When I finally awoke and give him a hug and sing the birthday song, Lauren quickly pipes in to say, "what about carebear, it's her birthday too?" Great we have to keep it up. She also informs us that her bear is sick with the carebear fever. The way she tells it, you do not want to catch it! Later she asks me where her bear's presents are. And I'm thinking, really?! So we are celebrating two birthday's today! Stay tuned for some pictures...Above is a picture of Lauren with her carebear (the pink one) back when Santa gave it to her for Christmas in 2005.

ah we love care bears! We have a whole chair of them. We especially like Harmony Bear (purple) and Tenderheart Bear.
I'm sorry I didn't know that Carebear shared a birthday with Kenny. Next year, I'll have to send gifts to remember both birthdays!!!!
Keeley has monthly birthdays--but we only celebrate the day of her birth.

Don't you love what you get suckered into doing sometimes for your kids? We had to have a birthday cake on Easter for the rabbit Jacob got 3 years ago for the same reason.
That is one of the most adorable pictures EVER!! Lauren is so hilarious--I can just picture this WHOLE THING! She is so much fun. :)
