Has it been a year already?

I just realized that it was a year ago today that the kids and I were on a plane leaving Arizona to start a new life here. I can't believe it has been a year already. It has just flown by! I think this blogging thing helps because I still feel connected with you all back home. I have thoroughly enjoyed this time here . . . experiencing a new climate, culture and the beauty all around. I was able to make friends fast and I love my ward and neighborhood. I have to admit, I am sick of this crazy colder then usual weather!!! I am looking forward to a beautiful summer away from heat. Bring it on already! Rain and cooler temps do bring beautiful landscapes which I am thoroughly enjoying. Check out our newest bloom in our backyard.

I love that flower! I think I'm coming to visit so I can take pictures and then post them on my photography site! I strongly dislike AZ for picture taking reasons!!!!! Your blog is adorable!!! How do you have the time?!

We miss you terribly here, but it is so fun to keep up with all the adventures you have. Maybe SOME day we'll be able to have our OWN Washington adventures. Until then, I'll have to live vicariously through your blog! :)

We all miss you so much Karen! It sounds like you are doing very well there and you will do absolutely great with your new calling. I am so jealous of the beautiful scenery there. I too love flowers and green surroundings!!

One year huh? I'm in 5 months already-I can't believe it. I do have to agree with you on the "colder that usual" weather. I'm ready for some warmth!

Ok... Here's the skinny. Everyone north of Yuma is now in the new "Canyon Trails Ward". (Wildflower & Canyon Trails subdivisions.) South of Yuma is Sarival. (Cottonflower, Sarival Village, & one more I can't think of.) SO I'm in the new ward... Still in shock.
