Spending Time Outdoors

We've thoroughly enjoyed the warmer weather this last week! It has allowed us to spend time outdoors (not that we don't go outdoors when it is cold or wet). This past week myself and the kids have gone on a couple of outings with some friends who have shown us some fun places. Last Friday we went to Moulton Falls Park which has raging waters and trails for hiking. I've got to admit I was really nervous to have the kids climb on rocks so close to the very fast moving water! I settled down after a few minutes and was able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
There were tadpoles swimming in these small pools of water.

Does she look excited or what?! You would think I told her how to sit for this picture but in reality, I had just turned around from taking a picture of Kenny high on a rock and found her sitting like this.
On Tuesday we went to the Zoo. Currently at the zoo they have a dinosaur exhibit. I think the kids were more excited about seeing the robotic dinosaurs then the live animals.

The kids had fun using these controls to control . . .This! The main dinosaur exhibit cost extra. We figure we will go back in a few weeks when we have Mark with us.

A big hit was the John Deer tractor. Who knew?!
Of course Carley's favorite was the animals . . . especially the ones she could touch.

The biggest hit for all was the sea lions. They were huge!!! They kept coming up and swimming right next to the glass.

Thanks Ily for a great time!
