Things are blooming really late this year with all the cold temps. Here are some more pictures of the new growth.

I remember seeing silk flowers like these in stores and think, "there can't possibly be real flowers like these growing somewhere." Well yes, they bloom on trees like this:
I've also never witnessed new growth of needles before. All the trees around here have bright green tips. They look like fiber optic trees. Did you noticed the new fury green pine cones to the left?

That is so gorgeous! That was something that I really missed when we lived in AZ. Colorado has a beautiful spring time.
Happy birthday, Mark!! I thought about him all day yesterday and realized at 11:30 last night that I never called. I'm the worst sister ever! We'll call later this week when he's home to give a shoutout.
And another thing - I was seriously laughing so hard about Lauren pulling a Chris Farley! Every time I think about it I laugh even harder. And I'm sure my co-workers are loving my random outbursts.
...remember how if you played that song backwards, it said, "Paul is dead?" That was a h-ho-hoax..or something..right?
Beautiful! I am so sick of brown, tan, and beige. . . bleh
It's so pretty up in your part of the country! I love how everything is green and colorful! Happy birthday to your hubby!
What amazing pictures! I'm jealous. We don't have anything like that here. Enjoy!!
Wow, those flowers are gorgeous. Being native to Arizona I've never witnessed anything like that either. Maybe someday!
So any jobs for a computer programmer that want's to get out of games and into something that helps people??? I want flowers like that!
Our neighbors are moving to Seatle in the fall. I'm so jealous that you guys get to live in such a beautiful place. I'm glad that you are still enjoying it.
